Learn how to do DIY repairs!

Do you have something that needs repairing? On the first Sunday of every month, you can bring anything that needs fixing – including clothing, toys, bikes, small electrical items, and more – to Repair Café Surf Coast!

Volunteers utilise their own skills and knowledge to help you get your items back into working order, thus preventing them from going into landfill – their goal is to help the environment ”one fix at a time”.

If you have children aged 3 to 15, bring them along to be involved, and learn life skills together as they figure out how things work by tinkering, fixing and mending – all under expert supervision. Children are encouraged to pull apart items and put them back together, giving them the confidence to do their own repairs in future.

As the event is run solely by volunteers there is no charge – although donations are appreciated to help keep the event running for years to come.
