Celebrate New Year’s Eve with fireworks on Geelong’s waterfront!

This free annual tradition makes a return to help the Geelong community bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025 with an impressive light show.

Inviting all friends and family down for a dusk fireworks show at 9:30pm followed by a traditional midnight display at 11:59pm that will light up the whole night sky.

Kick off the evening with free entertainment, including the spectacular Floating Christmas Tree sound and light show from 8:30pm up to midnight, and marvel at the stunning Christmas-themed projections on City Hall nearby.

Whether you’re enjoying the bay side ambiance or hitting the dancefloor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as we usher in 2025.
