The latest on Armstrong Creek
land at The Reserve

It’s been an action-packed month on the ground at The Reserve, with works across all Stages under construction powering along towards completion. In Stages 1 and 2, the road asphalting and line marking is underway, while in Stage 3, sewer works have recently been completed and the team is working on the drainage reticulation.

Following a significant boom in regional areas, the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation have extended the Regional First Home Buyers Guarantee (RFHBG) for an additional 10,000 places each year until 25 June 2025. The RFHBG allows eligible first-home buyers to enter the market with a deposit of as little as 5% without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance.

The start of spring has seen a flurry of works on the ground at The Reserve, with the team working hard to reach completion across the stages. In Stages 1 and 2, the concrete pouring of footpaths and driveways is nearing completion.

Nestled amongst a setting of Australian natives is Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre in Charlemont, a not-for-profit educational hub celebrating Aboriginal history and culture. Led by its mission to create a welcoming and friendly destination for education and local tourism, Narana invites its visitors to learn about today’s Indigenous culture and its important history.

We’re pleased to share that its been another busy month on the ground at The Reserve, with the team working hard to reach completion across the stages. In Stages 1 and 2, class 4 road layering, kerb and channel works are complete and the team has now commenced works on the electrical trenching.

Kicking off on Sunday August 6, Geelong Gallery is showcasing the work of local students for its annual Who’s Who Portrait Prize exhibition. A homage to Jules Francois Archibald – the inspiration for the renowned Archibald Prize- in his birthplace of Geelong, the Geelong Gallery is proud to celebrate the creativity of the local community’s youngest minds once again.

Despite the chill in the air, the team on the ground has powered along this past month to ensure works across the first stages continue towards completion at The Reserve. In Stages 1 and 2, the team continued with subgrade pavement works, which will prepare the ground for kerb and channel works once the pavement foundations are complete.

Works are powering along at The Reserve this month, with our team on the ground embracing the winter weather and continuing to progress works across all stages. In Stages 1 and 2, the team has completed water and gas reticulation works, with the focus now shifting to laying the Class 4 road layer and completing the electrical road crossings.

It’s been another busy month at The Reserve, with works on the ground taking shape as our first Stages progress towards completion. In Stages 1 and 2, the subbase capping is now complete, with the stormwater drainage currently underway.
